News packages I helped produce for CNN’s primetime shows. I was assigned multiple blocks across one-hour programs, including fast-turn breaking news segments. My responsibilities included fact-checking, gathering and editing media using Adobe Premiere, coding text elements in iNews, and creating supporting graphics.

CNN PRIMETIME: JACKSONVILLE SHOOTING

• Verified and fact-checked the shooting timeline and collaborated closely with graphics team to ensure accuracy
• Researched and gathered victim information, images, and relevant surveillance footage
• Tracked down and cut SOT of Vivek Ramaswamy for inclusion in the segment
• Created and coded text elements using AVID iNews to support script and visuals

CNN TONIGHT: 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIP-HOP

• Researched and pulled archival footage and images spanning key moments in hip-hop history
• Squeezed back and prepared footage for air using Adobe Premiere

• Researched and gathered archival images from multiple databases to build a VOSS
• Completed an accelerated edit under shifting deadlines, ensuring the segment was ready for air

• Monitored live updates of healthcare preparedness ahead of Hurricane Idalia
